This week’s #michED chat was a time to speak passionately and purposefully about why we love teaching. Encouraged by the State Superintendent of Schools Mike Flanagan and former Michigan Teach of the Year Gary Abud, we shared the passion for our profession, and how to keep ourselves loving what we do; teaching.

The love for our professional stems from passionate roots bound up in caring for others, a love for learning, and focusing on continually improving ourselves. There are thousands of teachers that love what they do everyday in Michigan, and this evening was a chance to show it! If you love teaching, but couldn’t make it to the chat, continue sharing how you love teaching the rest of the month using the hashtag #LoveTeaching on Twitter!
