This week’s chat topic was selected by the community as something close to the realities that many educators face in Michigan. We collaborate, we communicate, and we make efforts to work with those outside of our “silos,” but it’s a difficult and draining task that takes a lot of effort on the part of teachers and administrators. Thankfully, breaking down the silos that separate us (grade level, content area, physical buildings, etc.) can be easy by taking small steps. This week’s chat was moderated by Ben Rimes, and included a link to a simple, but great, post from Edutopia by Ainissa Rameriz about getting started on breaking down silos.
